Our Team
Gary Dieu de Bellefontaine
Gary started coming into the shop with his father Dennis when he was just 13 years old. More years than he’d like to admit later he is an Omega Qualified watch maker as well as a jeweller of over 50 years.
Over the years people have brought in all sorts of items for Gary to fix, from the everyday items such as rings, watches and clocks to the more unusual things such as music boxes, glasses and small metal figurines!
Gary is always happy to help!
Mary Dieu de Bellefontaine
Even though Gary is the man behind the repairs, Mary is the reason the shop is still running. Apart from being a FGA DGA qualified Gemmologist with Gem-A and a Valuer Mary also deals with running the shop and making sure everyone knows when their repairs are done, and running our computer systems so we can sell items.
Henry Dieu de Bellefontaine
Henry is about to start University in Kent to study Film production. A vast majority of the photographs on our site have been taken by him. While he worked for us he made most of our recycled silver jewellery under the watchful eyes of Gary & William.
Tony Dieu de Bellefontaine
Tony built this site in his spare time between his first and second year of studying gemmology at Birmingham City University. When Tony was working at the shop he would in between serving customers and changing watch batteries he would make CAD models as well as come up with design ideas for stones that he convinced Gary & Mary to buy at conferences and Gem shows. Tony has since graduated with a first class honors degree from Birimingham City University in Jewellery and Gemmology. Tony now works for Anchorcert at the Birmingham Assay Office.
Michael Dieu de Bellefontaine
Mike can usually be found in the watch workshop servicing watches. Similarly to Gary, Mike does carry out watch repairs and battery replacements.
William Dieu de Bellefontaine
Third son of Mary & Gary. Will now works for a leading watch service center in Essex.
