We strip the movement down completely, check for any worn wheels or teeth; clean; reassemble and oil the mechanism. The case and bracelet have a light refinishing.

The service includes replacing any worn teeth, wheels, any seals, and glass replacement as necessary. For many quartz watches, the service includes movement replacement and refinishing of the case and bracelet.

Once assembled, the watch is checked for timing accuracy.

The watch is disassembled and the parts are checked for any deep scratches or dents. If there are large dents and scratches these can be rectified by the use of the laser welder, extra charge for this service and normally part of a full refurbishment. The parts are then sanded down using the correct tools for that job.

The parts are then polished, masked, if necessary, brushed, mask removal cleaned in the ultrasonic tank, dried and lastly reassembled.

Restoration is often for a watch that has seen a lot of wear. The case, bracelet are dented, scratched and worn. Any dents or scratches will be repaired and brought as close as possible back to the original condition. The finish of the watch will repolished and any textured finish reapplied to the surface including starburst type designs. Any worn pins or tubes linking the bracelet will be replaced. All seals in the case will be replaced, this includes glass, back, crown and pusher seals. The glass will be replaced with one as close as possible to the original one. The dial will be cleaned and or re printed if required. The movement will be serviced and all worn, damaged or tired parts replaced.
